The sounds of shaken cocktails and Latin music will welcome you into Uno Mas Street Tacos & Spirits. The simple but delicious menu combined with affordable Vegas prices will make this your favorite pre or post-party spot to grab some grub.

Here is my complete review of Uno Mas including all the sections of the menu and what the dining experience is really like.

Mexican Classics With Modern Twists

You’ll be able to smell the fresh corn tortillas throughout the Uno Mas restaurant as you walk to your table. The meals are decidedly Mexican but you’ll see a few modern twists to keep the menu appealing to all audiences.

Below is my breakdown of each menu section and what type of food and ingredients you can expect.

The Uno Mas Menu

Snacks

Before you jump into your street tacos, take a look at some of the appetizing snacks that will give you a taste of the flavors to come. The Guacamole & Chips and the Chips & Salsa are perfect for starting with something light. You get to pick between two salsas from pico de Gallo, Morita, molcajete, and roasted tomatillo. The guac has a bit of kick to it with jalapenos and serranos added to the tomato, onion, and cilantro.

For bigger appetites, the Cheese Quesadilla and Al Pastor Fries provide a little more substance. The Chips & Salsa are only $7 but other options range from $14 to $17 unless you want to add some protein to your quesadilla, which will cost more.

Street Tacos

Where Uno Mas really makes their mark is in its street taco section. Here, you’ll find all the street classics you’d see in Mexico as well as some modern versions you won’t find at your typical Mexican restaurant. You can order one, two, or three tacos of your choice or mix and match what you want.

The signature dishes are the Shrimp Xni-Pec or the Quesabirria with Consome but you can’t go wrong with the Pork Al Pastor, Chicken Tinga, Carne Asada, and Gringo. However, everyone will be able to find something on this menu with an Impossible veggie taco and a Fish & Beer taco. One taco is $7, two is $13, and three is $19.

Bowls

While limited, the bowl selections on the menu all come with similar ingredients but you get to choose your own protein. You’ll get fresh cilantro rice, charro beans, pico de Gallo, Monterey jack cheese, queso fresco, guacamole, and cilantro with each bowl. However, you can always pick and choose what you want to make it your way.

Each bowl gives you the option to select from three different proteins including chicken tinga, carne asada, or spicy shrimp. No matter what kind of meat you get, all the bowls are $22.

Burritos

Just like the bowl section, the burritos are made with the same ingredients except you get to choose the protein of your choice. You don’t get quite the selection of fresh Mexican ingredients but the burritos are still packed with cilantro rice, charro beans, tomatillo salsa, pico de Gallo, and Monterey jack cheese.

The main difference between bowls and burritos is you get more options for your protein choices. Selections include chicken tinga, carne asada, spicy shrimp, pork al pastor, and beef birria. The burritos are one dollar cheaper at $21 a piece.

Dessert

Only one dessert option is prepared at Uno Mas but at least you get three different flavors. Traditional churros are served with raspberry, chocolate, or original flavors and the trio is available for $9.

Drinks & Cocktails

Uno Mas adds a fun element to their cocktails you won’t see at many other Vegas Mexican restaurants. The three signature cocktails are all made with Dole Whip, which is a frozen dessert made from fruit. Your options are between the classic Margarita, Greyhound, or Pina Colada.

There are traditional frozen margaritas available for $15 a piece or you can get one on the rocks in the specialty cocktail sections. The modern combinations include a Tropical Paloma, Oaxacan Old Fashioned, Caribbean Breeze, Cucumber Cooler, and the signature Uno Mas Margarita.

You’ll also find no shortage of domestic and Mexican-style beers as well as a handful of wines.

A Refined Mexican Atmosphere

The decor and atmosphere at Uno Mas isn’t what you’d expect given the other colorful and lively Mexican restaurants on the strip. What you get at Uno Mas is a more relaxed and refined experience. Dark wood tables and floors combine with the brick walls to create a more modern Mexican dining experience.

1950s-style chandeliers hang above group dining tables and you’ll see traditional Mexican day of the dead decor adorning the walls and paintings. Uno Mas is perfect for any couple, family, or group of friends looking for a quick bite to eat with authentic Mexican flavors. You might even be welcomed by a mariachi band coronating you into the restaurant.
